She doesn't want hubby bringing home diseases. It's been a short time historically since some of those social diseases could be cured and many are still awaiting a cure. She doesn't want hubby spending the family's food and rent money on girls of the night. And she doesn't want her son's to think it's okay for Dad to cheat on Mom, or her future wife.
