THE EMPIRE STRIKES BARACK
Every time I get cynical and tired of politics I come across something that makes me laugh and keeps it all in perspective. Enjoy.

There are a lot of us here in Vermont hoping that you in Indiana will vote for Obama tomorrow.
All this talk of blue-collar workers needing a break on the gas tax is insulting to the working class. Just because we don’t make large sums of money doesn’t mean we are stupid. Most Americans want a long-term fix on the economy and can recognize pandering when we see it. I know Hoosiers have great common sense and will not be tricked by Hillary Clinton.
Hillary can’t accomplish what she wants–no one who understands the economy supports this.
Please remember that the Clintons in the White House again means scandal after scandal. When will she (they!) have time to address the nation’s issues?
Please also remember that returning the Clintons to the White House means that two families have had control of the highest office for too many years. We are not a dynastic nation.
I am white, 59, a mom, a wife, a teacher, and a feminist — a Hillary demographic. And there are several of us here. We support Obama and believe that he will rebuild America and remind us of the great good we can stand for in the world.
Please support Obama on Tuesday — .

Abdul,
Why aren’t you covering more local politics today?
In Hamilton County, it was revealed last week that Rick McKinney, current President of the Hamilton County Council and candidate for re-election, has declared bankruptcy THREE times!
His last bankruptcy in 2005 had $20,000 in gambling debts on it.
